New for 2023 is a highly refined Duramax 3.0L Turbo-Diesel engine that delivers 10% more horsepower (305 hp) and nearly 8% more torque (495 lb-ft) than its predecessor. This joins a trio of other engines: 2.7L Turbo, 5.3L V8 and 6.2L V8, the latter of which makes 420 hp and 460 lb-ft of torque. The 2024 Silverado replaces the 2.7L Turbo with a 2.7L High-Output I-4 that makes 310 hp and 430 lb-ft of torque.

Built from high-strength steel, the Durabed offers best-in-class cargo box volume, an available 120V outlet, LED Rear Task lights, 12 fixed tie-downs rated at 500 pounds, Multi-Flex tailgate and power up/down liftgate functionality, and the expansive CornerStep rear bumper.
